Brian Graeme, CFA, CAIA

Brian Graeme is the primary Investment Analyst responsible for private equity and other equity-oriented investment opportunities across the institutional and directed assets accounts for which GuideStone serves as trustee. In this capacity, Mr. Graeme leads research efforts in his areas of responsibility, conducting comprehensive quantitative and qualitative analysis. Additionally, he is responsible for leading the research process for hedge fund, infrastructure and private real estate asset classes, as well as assisting with portfolio management and macroeconomic decision-making and analytics, including asset allocation research and modeling for GuideStone Investment Services. 

Mr. Graeme joined GuideStone in 2021. Prior to assuming his responsibilities at GuideStone, he served as an Investment Officer at the California State Teachers’ Retirement System (“CalSTRS”). Prior to CalSTRS, Mr. Graeme was a Senior Investment Associate at the Oklahoma State University Foundation, where he led the co-investment program and conducted due diligence research on private equity, venture capital, equity, fixed income, real estate, energy and alternative asset managers.

Mr. Graeme holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Arizona and a Master of Business Administration degree from The University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Graeme is a CFA^® charterholder, a member of the CFA Institute and a full member of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association^®.
