Timothy Bray, CFA, CAIA, CDDA

Timothy Bray is a voting member of the firm's Investment Management, Allocation and Risk Committee. In this capacity, Mr. Bray participates in decision-making related to the hire and termination of managers, asset allocation changes and risk considerations associated with the management of GuideStone Funds. He also serves as a named Portfolio Manager for the Asset Allocation and MyDestination Funds, Strategic Alternatives Fund, Defensive Market Strategies^® Fund, and Global Impact Fund.

Additionally, Mr. Bray is the principal Portfolio Manager for investment advisory clients of GuideStone Investment Services^®. Mr. Bray is also the primary Portfolio Manager of the directed assets accounts for which GuideStone serves as trustee. In this capacity, he supervises the research team overseeing non-registered strategies, including alternative strategies, on GuideStone’s platform.

Mr. Bray joined GuideStone in 2006. Prior to assuming his responsibilities at GuideStone, he served with Campus Crusade for Christ and as a Missions Pastor. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management Information Systems from Texas Tech University and a Master of Business Administration degree from The University of Texas at Arlington. Mr. Bray is a CFA^® charterholder, a member of the CFA Society of Dallas/Fort Worth and a full member of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association^®.
