Josh Chastant is the primary Investment Analyst responsible for the impact funds, non-U.S. developed equity fund and global real estate fund within the GuideStone Funds lineup of registered mutual funds. In this capacity, Mr. Chastant performs comprehensive quantitative and qualitative analysis on current and prospective fund managers, including research and recommendations regarding fund structure and composition.
Mr. Chastant joined GuideStone in 2018. Prior to assuming his responsibilities at GuideStone, he served as an Investment Analyst with the Communities Foundation of Texas, where he was responsible for asset allocation monitoring and implementation and investment manager due diligence across all asset classes, including U.S. and non-U.S. equities, fixed income, hedge funds, real estate investment trusts (REITs) and private investments. Prior to Communities Foundation of Texas, Mr. Chastant was a Senior Associate at Cambridge Associates, where he worked with non-profit, endowment and high net worth clients. Additionally, Mr. Chastant served in the Army from 2004-2010 as an Infantry team leader at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
Mr. Chastant holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of North Texas and a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance from Southern Methodist University.
