Manager, Asset Allocation – Public Markets

Tong Li is the Manager of Asset Allocation responsible for all aspects of the Target Date Funds, Target Risk Funds and the specialty funds within the GuideStone Funds lineup of registered mutual funds. In this capacity, Mr. Li performs comprehensive quantitative and qualitative analysis of current and prospective sub-advisers, including research and recommendations regarding fund structure and composition. Mr. Li also leads GuideStone Funds’ broader asset allocation efforts.

Mr. Li joined GuideStone in 2022. Prior to assuming his responsibilities at GuideStone, Mr. Li served as a Quantitative Strategist for Pacific Life Fund Advisors, where he was responsible for trading for the Multi-Asset Fund and constructing and applying the total return swap trading model. He has also previously worked on the quant desks of Western Asset Management Company and PIMCO.

Mr. Li holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from California State University, Fullerton, and a Master of Financial Engineering degree from the University of California, Los Angeles Anderson School of Management. Mr. Li is a CAIA charter holder, FRM charter holder and a Level III candidate for the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
